Meet The Team

Tasha Chin (Founder & CEO)

Tasha attended the University of Western Ontario and has a 16 year career in corporate finance. In 2020 she graduated with her degree in Business and Society from York University and has worked with grassroots organizations and the education sector. In 2022 she graduated with her UX/UI Design certificate at the University of Toronto.
Today she aims to continue to empower uncomfortable, diverse, and inclusive conversations.
Tasha holds a buffet of experiences, where she supports community residents in the knowledge exchange, communication and collaboration among grassroots organizations, for profit businesses, and many levels of government.
She is a creative who enjoys spoken word to express, tap in and release her emotions. She also has the honour of raising and guiding 3 beautiful children who she adores, and brings with her, through every door that opens and closes. She is building a legacy of love, compassion, and self agency. Her advocacy will continue until equity deserving groups get the access to meet their needs, simply because they are human…too.

Pepper Brooks (Marketing Strategist)

PepperBrooks is a creative marketing strategist who blends empathy with technology, art, and psychology. Through PepperBrooks Media, she collaborates with kind and compassionate brands to elevate inclusive marketing and build an emotional connection with their target audience. She employs a range of tools and techniques to achieve this, including the use of behavioural science and user experience (UX) design. Her vision is to reduce inequality and promote inclusion for all. As a social entrepreneur, she believes that entrepreneurship is an important tool for economic growth and social change.

Chantel Riley (Acting Consultant)

Chantel Riley is a Canadian-Jamaican singer, songwriter, and actress known for her lead role as “Trudy Clarke” in the Canadian hit series, Frankie Drake Mysteries. She also starred as “Angela Cooke” alongside Suits veteran Gina Torres in the Suits spin off series Pearson.
Chantel kicked off her acting career after attending an open call in Toronto and landed her first gig playing “Nala” in Disney’s The Lion King in Hamburg, Germany. For this, her first major role, she learned the entire play and lyrics in German. After a successful one year run, Chantel returned home to Toronto and was immediately offered an opportunity to play this role on Broadway. In the summer of 2012, she made her debut in New York City and spent four years bringing this well-loved character to life. While performing on Broadway, Chantel also landed her first film role playing “Quincella Nickerson” in the critically acclaimed Jesse Owens biopic, Race.
Chantel is also known for her recurring role on the SyFy series, Wynonna Earp, and appears as “Layla Hassan” in the Assassin’s Creed Origins video game. Chantel recently released her new EP called “I AM” and has officially launched her upcoming kids boutique called Sweet Riley!

Damien Williams (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)

DWI is a business-savvy and creative thinker, always pushing the boundaries and thinking outside of the box. Before founding DaMatrixStudios, he worked a regular job while pursuing his dreams on the side. He emphasizes the importance of conscious planning and encourages others to do the same. In 2007, DWI was awarded "Most Influential Producer of the Year" and remained humble while continuing to inspire and motivate others.
DWI's talent and motivation led him to become a pioneer of online broadcast networks, creating a home for artists and personalities to reach their dreams and goals. DaMatrix Studios is not only a radio with vision, but also a studio for music production, live on location coverages, social networking, and positive community influences. With 23years of experience, DWI and his team are well-versed in music production and offer options for leasing and/or buying beats. DaMatrix Studios is the perfect place to start and continue your influential show, with built-in fans to help spread your movement.

Makesha Myles (Event Management)

After a 10 year career in fraud mitigation with the financial industry Makesha decided to go back to school and completed a post-graduate program in Event Management at Humber College. Her attention to detail, visionary mindset, ability to see beyond what is said, and infectious personality has made her a key staple in her industry.
